What parents say on Google
We were very hesitant about the school as it was hard to find parents with first-hand experience of such a small school, and the marketing seems almost too good to be true. Our son just completed his first year at Lovell and we could not be more in love with the school. The teachers and staff are absolutely incredible. Even the teachers from other classes know my child and support him. Everyone at the school is truly focused on the full child, helping kids become confident, resilient and kind. We see our child developing true intellectual curiosity, and giving his own parents advice like "it's ok to make a mistake, just try again!" The school really delivers on its promises. Private school in Thailand is incredibly expensive, but the tuition here is maybe half of what you would expect for this standard of education and care. I don't even think you can find this quality and small class size at any price in Pattaya or even Bangkok. I'm happy to answer questions if you are a new parent. We were very worried about taking a chance by going outside of the large established options, and our kid is shy so we knew we couldn't just move him again and again. We feel so lucky to have found Lovell. I honestly can't say enough positive things about it. The only thing that I think they could do better is communicate events and parent involvement with more notice (which I have mentioned to them!). Besides that, it's beyond our expectations to find a school like this in Thailand. We plan to keep our child at Lovell as long as we possibly can :)
When we were choosing a school for our daughter at 2.5 years old, we visited several international schools in Pattaya, including St. Andrews, Rugby, and Lovell. St. Andrews was simply too far for us at that time, and Rugby, although impressive, felt better suited for older children. For me, it was very important to have smaller class sizes and a strong native English-speaking environment during the early years. What made Lovell stand out immediately was the atmosphere — warm, caring, and very personal. The teachers truly pay attention to each child individually and support their strengths and personality. For example, when they noticed our daughter was progressing very quickly in Chinese, they discussed it with us and arranged extra time for her with a more advanced group. I really appreciated that level of attention and flexibility. Another big advantage is the convenient location compared to many international schools outside the city. Most importantly, my daughter genuinely loves going to school every day, and for me, that says everything. Very grateful to the teachers and staff for creating such a positive and nurturing environment for children.
What a beautifully thought out school Lovell is. It is really designed to instil the best aspects of life in the developing minds of preschool children. The founder, Beau Pattamon Mekavarakul, has a clear vision to create an educational facility that is not only safe but also instills the values and morals every person needs to tackle in the daily challenges they will face in their young, developing lives. The school is equipped with outstanding learning facilities and stimulating environments that surpass those of other schools. It emphasises teaching key values such as resilience, self-esteem, sustainability, compassion, kindness, freedom of thought, and respect for oneself and others. I can’t wait to enrol my children here in the future.
This is the most beautiful kindergarten and school you’ll ever come across. It’s super secure, thoughtfully designed, and set in a calm, natural environment. My daughter absolutely thrived here. The student-to-adult ratio is unbeatable, and the weekly activities were enriching and so beneficial for her development. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this school and couldn’t recommend it more highly.
The teachers at this school are very kind. And my child who couldn't speak a word of English came to speak English at this school in two months. Choosing this school in a foreign country that is unfamiliar is the best choice. Of course, my mother, I cannot speak English, so I may have a hard time for teachers, but they always explain slowly and explain in detail using a translator so that I can understand. I am very satisfied with the way this school teaches and teaching children 🥰
